An electronic medical record, or EMR, giving doctors the ability to track medical data of a patient. Computer programs such as the epic, are used for patients with EPD in health and medical practices to administer. Caregivers can simultaneously access multiple HME. This allows doctors to consult each other about a patient and avoid delays that would occur if only one copy of patient information was available.
